And we walked through the
massive steel doors into the downstairs lobby, I felt I had reached
the homeland. Every biker’s dream lay before my eyes. Nothing
in this shop is small, not the display cabinets, the shop, or
                the building itself.

Walking through, clicking pictures and checking out prices I was
pleasantly surprised to find nothing higher than the norm in a Harley
dealership. In fact, the t-shirts commemorating the opening were
              only $20.

The second floor was packed with biker shoppers. And there was
certainly plenty to choose from: jewelry, clothing, shoes, picture
frames, sun glasses, every conceivable HD stamped, embroidered and
stamped item imaginable. Actually, it’s about time shops started
to figure out that this is a market largely untapped.

Back down stairs and in the back of the building are the shops
where the real work happens. All sparkly and new waiting for the
first good greasy bike mess to happen. There is something wonderful
about the look of the guys sitting in those surrounding, smiling
and happy, waiting for one of us to break down.

There was free brisket sandwiches or turkey sandwiches with the
trimmings for all the poor hungry bikers, which was uniquely served
on orange commemorative frisbees. I have a bunch of chewing, slobbering
dogs so I grabbed some from those who were throwing them away! I
would have dug some out of the trash but I didn’t want the title
              “bikertrash” hey! Wait a minute!

Everywhere I looked, the eyes were sparkling and the smiles were
wide, it was much like Christmas a month early! If you didn’t make
the opening, check this place out. It is well worth the trip no
              matter where you live!!

Congratulations to Mike and his entire staff for working so hard
to get the dealership open and working so hard to make sure everyone
had a good time at the opening party.

Originally published in BikerTrash.
