Great Gifts — for that special someone
Sleeves Clothing. People who knew her were shocked. Here she was walking into the icehouse with both arms covered in intricate full-color tattoos. Her mother had taken one glance and just about needed the smelling salts.
Tattoos! They immediately change the way that people related to you and the way people perceive you.
This month our alert co-editor found a company called Sleeves Clothing that makes outerwear that creates the illusion of tattoos. Options range from merely having both arms covered with "ink" to having your entire upper torso appearing to be one intricate canvas. The effect is so real that people don't have to see to believe, they have to feel to believe that they are not real.
The next time you want to intimidate your boss, shock your minister or devastate your mother, show up wearing these designs from Sleeves Clothing.

Another Great Gift Idea!
Woodys Billets. I own a nice bike with a custom paint job. It is a beautifully done bike but the shifter linkage has always looked a little . . . crappy. Because the bike was so highly customized by the previous owner I had never been able to buy an off-the-shelf replacement so I thought that I was just destined to live with the ugly thing. And for six years I have endured it even though every time I look at the bike I have hated that ugly, plain linkage.
Recently at the Republic of Texas Rally (www.ROTRally.com) I visited the booth for Woody's Billet Accessories. He had a selection on the coolest linkages that I had ever seen. Some with crosses, some with spades, others with flames, even one with a Lone Star design. As I was commenting on the Lone Star piece I asked if he could create one custom-made. The answer was yes and the price was no higher than the stock pieces that he had on display. Makes that one a no-brainer. The order was placed, the money paid and the artwork sent to Woody. Voila! In about 5 weeks I received a package with a linkage that was perfect — it had my Lone Star Biker logo on it. These would make a unique and thoughtful gift for someone special. Maybe their name, maybe your name, maybe a design or image that is special for the two of you.
