They have a story to tell.
The images in this album represent a hundred years of motorcycle history.
Even though the people who lovingly handcrafted these machines have long since passed into history their craftsmanship lives on and gives us the opportunity to view and admire their work.
If only these classics could talk what stories they could tell about their experiences. Boys who loved them, went off to war and never returned, couples whose romance was sparked by their presence or young men who used them to deliver telegrams for Western Union. Messengers used them to speed important documents between businesses before the advent of Fed Ex, the fax machine or email.
Enjoy these silent relics
Maybe, just maybe, they will tell you their story.
