A ‘Do Rag That Really Does!

It was a 728-mile run from Houston to El Paso. Before the day was over I would lose three “do rags” – and a baseball cap! Needless to say I was disgusted, aggravated – and my hair was a mess.

Two mannequin heads wearing Domer head wraps, one with white stars on blue and one red.

“Doesn’t anyone make a “do rag” that will actually stay on at highway speeds?”

By the time I got to El Paso for the Border Run, my mission was to check out all the vendors until I found someone that had a solution for the problem of “do rags” blowing off my head.

I talked with every vendor I could find with rags and they all assured me that theirs were different – “Yeah, right.”

It didn’t take a genius to see that these were the same old products that marked my trail from Houston. One vendor even suggested using alligator clips and a piece of string to fasten the rag to my shirt. I think he missed the point entirely, I wanted one that would stay in place without having to retie it every few miles and without that uncomfortable feeling you get when it starts getting loose and you know that at any minute now . . .

I had about given up when I wandered into the booth run by Domer International – I could tell at a glance that these were different. When I tried one on it was not only more comfortable but it felt secure.

I bought the tube-style, for long hair, and couldn’t wait to try it.

When I left El Paso for Houston I put it on and promptly forgot about it. In the first 360 miles before lunch I never once had to adjust it, reposition it and never once did it get that loose feeling. It was so comfortable that I wasn’t even aware that I had it on.

This was definitely one of the best biker apparel products that I have ever purchased. This is a product that I will never be without again.
